The figure of Karol Wojtyła, later John Paul II, is part of the story of how Hanna Mandelberger from Warsaw and Edith Zierer from Katowice were saved from the Holocaust.

Concert performed by the CORO GRAMOLON Choir (Italy), conducted by Giuseppe BRUNELLO, organized jointly with the Italian Culture Institute in Cracow. In the program, folk songs, military songs and partisan songs.

Piano recital performed by Piotr RÓŻAŃSKI. In the program, works by J. S. Bach, F. Chopin, K. Szymanowski and S. Prokofiev.

Jewish Cracow – presentation of a guide book (in English) to Jewish sites in Cracow, published in cooperation with the European Program Monument Nomination and Pilot Implementation as an Alternative Form of Architecture and Religious Tourism.

  

Violin concert performed by Alicja PACZEŚNIAK (violin), student of the Music Academy in Cracow under Prof. Roman Reiner. Accompanist: Sławomir CIERPIK (piano). In the program, works by W. A. Mozart, B. Martinu and C. Franck.
