71st ANNIVERSARY OF THE KATYN MASSACRE
Katyń - screening of the feature film directed by Andrzej Wajda (2007, 125 min.).
A story of Polish military officers murdered by the Soviet NKVD during WWII in Katyn in the spring of 1940.
The picture portrays the tragedy of women unaware of the massacre, who await their husbands, fathers, sons or brothers.
Jewish Communists
- screening of the documentary directed by Anna Zawadzka (2010, 76 min.), followed by a discussion with the participation of Anna Zawadzka, Natalia Sarata from Foundation Women Space, Prof. Jerzy Aleksandrowicz, Jan Güntner, Prof. Hieronim Kubiak, Prof. Andrzej Kurz, Prof. Marian Stępień;
the meeting organized in cooperation with Krakowska KuĽnica Club.

A series of paintings inspired by short stories and novels by Isaac Bashevis Singer.
Through her paintings, the artist brings us into the world of magic and nostalgia.
