As Seen by a Consul - opening of the photographic exhibition by Adolf MÜLLER (Germany).

LITERARY PROGRAM

Against Hatred and Contempt
- presentation of the book by Prof. Henryk MARKIEWICZ, published by the Judaica Foundation as a part of the publication series Aleksander and Alicja Hertz Annual Memorial Lecture.



Friday, May 11th, 7:00 p.m. *
Felix Mendelssohn and His Works - lecture by Prof. Maciej NEGREY of the Music Academy in Krakow.
Opening concert
performed by Kaja DANCZOWSKA (violin, Poland), Jeremy FINDLAY (cello, Canada), Elena BRASLAVSKY (piano, USA). In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn and J. Haydn.



Saturday, May 12th, 7:00 p.m. *
Four-hands piano concert performed by Denis EVESQUE (France) and Agnes HUBER-EVESQUE (France). In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn, M. Moszkowsky, and D. Milhaud.



Sunday, May 13th, 7:00 p.m. *
Four hands piano concert performed by Roberto PROSSEDA (Italy) and Alessandra AMMARA (Italy). In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn, C. Boccadoro, and N. Campogrande. This concert will take place in the Concert Hall of the Music Academy, 8 Basztowa Street, Krakow.



Monday, May 14th, 7:00 p.m.*
Concert performed by the BEETHOVEN ACADEMY ORCHESTRA (Poland). In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn, K. Penderecki, A. Dvorak.



Tuesday, May 15th, 8:00 p.m.
Organ concert performed by Andrzej BIAŁKO (Poland). In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn, and J. S. Bach.
This concert will take place in the Pauline Basilica on the Skalka, 15 Skaleczna Street, Krakow.



Wednesday, May 16th, 7:00 p.m. *
Concert performed by the ENSEMBLE SALZBURG (Austria): Risa SCHUCHTER (violin), Andrea WILD (flute), Jeremy FINDLAY (cello), Elen BRASLAVSKY (piano). In the program, works by J. Haydn, F. Mendelssohn, and W. A. Mozart.

Chamber concert performed by Barbara RIEDER (piano), Sebastian BARTMANN (piano), Sonia STARKE (violin), Emanuel WEHSE (cello), from Germany. In the program, works by F. Mendelssohn.



Friday, May 18th, 6:00 p.m.
Jewish Life in Germany - lecture by Prof. Ernst Ludwig EHRLICH (Basel), Honorary Chairman of the B'nai B'rith Europe, organized jointly with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Warsaw.
Lecture in German, simultaneously translated to Polish.
