Rosenstraße - screening of a feature film directed by Margarethe von Trotta (Germany, 2003, 136 min.) The film tells a story of German women in Berlin protesting against the imprisonment and deportation of their Jewish husbands.

WW II in European Cinematography - lecture by Professor Tadeusz Lubelski and screening of the film So Long, Boys directed by Louise Malle (France, 1987, 104 min.).

LITERARY PROGRAM COCKROACHES, KANGAROOS AND SALMON: Metamorphosis and Escape in Modern Jewish Literature - from Kafka to Kuryluk - panel discussion with Professor Sidra DeKoven Ezrahi (Hebrew University in Jerusalem) and Ewa Kuryluk (Paris), and promotion of E. Kuryluk?s new book Kangaroo with a camera: 1959-2009 Autophotography, published by Galeria Artemis, ART+on and WL, 2009.
